The 2-2 Seattle Seahawks and 1-3 Carolina Panthers will square off on Sunday afternoon at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. Both teams will try to bounce back from tough Week 4 road losses.
NFL picks and predictions, Week 5: Seahawks vs. Panthers
Carolina seems to be the safe pick in their Week 5 matchup against Seattle, although the Seahawks are gaining some steam among national pundits.

Seattle dropped a 19-13 decision to St. Louis, despite outgaining the Rams, 319 total yards to 286. Meanwhile, Carolina lost to the Atlanta Falcons on a last-second field goal, after holding a lead late into the fourth quarter.
Two young, athletic quarterbacks with a propensity for turning the ball over will be the focus for this game. Cam Newton improved in that area last week, while Russell Wilson regressed. Thus, the momentum could be on the side of the former, which bodes well for the Panthers.
ESPN seems to agree, as all six analysts who have submitted their picks are taking Carolina. However, CBS Sports feels quite differently, with six of its eight analysts going with Seattle. Yahoo! Sports is currently split, with one expert yet to submit his picks.
