‘Forget about playoffs’ for Detroit Lions

Andy Clayton KingSean Yuille of SB Nation’s Detroit Lions blog, Pride of Detroit, writes that after a game as disapointing as Sunday’s, any chance at a playoff berth for the Lions is essentially dead.
The loss completed Minnesota’s season sweep of the Lions and put Detroit firmly in last place in the NFC North. They now sit behind the third-place Vikings by one game, two games after taking into account that Minnesota owns the tiebreaker.

Fantasy Impact: Peterson is on fire this season, especially over the last four weeks. In his last four games Peterson has gone for 153, 123, 182 and now 171 yards with at least one TD in each game. He is over 1,000 yards on the season and is showing no signs of a sprained ankle.

Johnson has a good matchup again in Week 10 against a Vikings secondary that has given up 14 passing touchdowns on the season. Minnesota has just four interceptions on the year.
