The third-year player from Kentucky only has one tackle this year, but he provides much-needed depth on the Falcons’ defensive line.
If the Falcons are without one of their key cogs along the defensive front, it could mean that the Buccaneers gain an edge with their running game, powered by explosive rookie Doug Martin.
A win today could go a long way toward helping the Falcons put away the NFC south, but both the Buccaneers and the Saints are charging hard on their heels. The Buccaneers have won four straight games and the Saints have won five of the last six.
