Broncos vs. Bengals: Peyton Manning throws three touchdowns in win

Manning threw two touchdown passes to complete the 37th fourth-quarter comeback victory of his career, establishing a new record in the process. SB Nation’s Cincy Jungle could not help but feel like one got away, especially after the Bengals had taken advantage of a pair of interceptions in the third quarter:

Cincinnati now sits at 3-5 on the season and is well off the playoff pace after making the postseason last year.

Coming off a Bye Week, Marvin Lewis and the Bengals desperately needed a win to snap a three-game losing streak and stay in the hunt during the second half of the season. They responded to the kick return with a three-minute touchdown drive to get back in it, and then capitalized on the Manning interception deep in Denver territory.

Fantasy Studs

Peyton Manning is looking like his old self with 272 yards on 25-of-33 passing with two touchdowns and two picks. The TDs were to Joel Dreessen and Eric Decker.

Was Peyton actually hurt this offseason or was he just filming commercials? He looks fantastic and he is clearly getting strong as the season progresses. Peyton went in the fifth or sixth rounds in a lot of leagues and he was off the board before top-15 ADPer Matt Stafford in some mid-season mock drafts this week.

First he ninja rolled away from Dalton, which was beautiful in itself.

After he evaded the imaginary assassins, Miller then proceeded to hop on the world tiniest horse and ride away at a fairly leisurely pace. He did this side saddled like a proper lady, I might add.

The second-year pro out of Georgia has shown almost no adjustment period in the pros. He has 15 touchdowns in just less than 23 career games and has proven to be one of the top receivers in both real and fantasy football. A.J. Green is great, and that is a scientific fact.

It’s election season, y’all. Get in the holiday spirit with the NFL and let’s rock the vote the way James Harrison rocks people’s brains so hard they have trouble remembering how to put on pants in the morning. Let’s see what we have here.

Now we’re talking. I’d rather see these guys going door to door asking me if I am ‘with the president’ than those dudes in North Face jackets and scarves who knock on my door at 9:00 a.m. when I’m trying to gain my extra hour of sleep.

Denver and Cincinnati are set to kick off at 1 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on CBS.

However, with a Week 8 bye, the Bengals will have a chance to reset and attempt to look like the team that won three straight games early in the season. To do so, they’ll have to beat a Broncos team that has dominated them historically, winning each of the last three matchups and 12 of the last 14.
