The Ravens are heavy favorites over the Raiders in Sunday’s contest, even though Baltimore generally has a hard time beating opponents by more than a touchdown.

After a string of four close wins, sandwiched by road losses to the Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans, the Ravens got back on track with a 10-point victory over the Cleveland Browns last week. The Ravens have gone 6-2 this season despite a point differential of just 2.9. They have only won two games by more than a touchdown in 2012.
The 3-5 Raiders have been outscored by 7.3 points per game thus far in 2012. They have three-point victories over the Pittsburgh Steelers and Jacksonville Jaguars, and a three-point loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Their other five games have been decided by more than a touchdown, four of which have been losses.
The over/under for the game has been set at 46.5 points. On average, both teams usually eclipse that number. The Raiders and their opponents combine to score 50 points per game, while the Ravens and their foes score almost 47 points per contest.
