The New York Jets lost their playoff hopes on Monday night when they lost 14-10 to the Tennessee Titans, and now they're stuck with the worst kind of quarterback controversy.
Rex Ryan ‘not ready’ to pick Jets starting QB
With three quarterbacks who haven’t proven themselves as starters this year, Rex Ryan said he is ‘not ready’ to pick the starter for next weekend’s game against the Chargers.

Unsurprisingly, Rex Ryan hasn't said who would start against the Chargers in Week 16. "I'm not ready to say who will be our quarterback next week," Ryan said after Monday's loss.
They have three quarterbacks -- Mark Sanchez, Tim Tebow, Greg McElroy -- none of whom has shown he can win games for his team this season. Sanchez had a horrendous game against the Titans, with four interceptions and the fumble that ended the season for them. Tebow has been injured and hasn't done much in the snaps he's taken. McElroy has almost no NFL experience since being drafted in 2011.
All three quarterbacks could be in play, especially with the playoff hopes now out of the question for New York. Sanchez has played in 13 of the Jets’ 14 games this season. Tebow has appeared in 10 games, albeit in a very limited role each time, while McElroy has appeared in only one.
