Seahawks vs. Bears: Sidney Rice touchdown gives Seattle overtime win

Rice’s biggest and most costly play came in overtime, where he caught a 13-yard score to win the game, but went down with a brutal collision and was motionless for a couple minutes.

Fantasy Impact: Rice was having a great game until that scary moment at the end. We’ll know more about his status later.

Wilson had perhaps his best performance of the season, leading the Seahawks to a 23-17 overtime win.

Fantasy Impact: You would never know Wilson was a rookie watching him pick apart the stiff Bears defense. He engineered a brilliant 97-yard drive to take the lead late in the fourth quarter, and led the game-winning drive in OT.

Characteristic of the game’s final few minutes, Seattle’s game-winning touchdown wasn’t a simple one, as Sidney Rice fell into the end zone after catching a pass from Wilson:

Fantasy Impact: Brandon Marshall now has over 1,100 receiving yards this season and eight touchdowns. He and Jay Cutler have clearly rekindled the same chemistry they shared back in Denver. Marshall has been heavily targeted by Cutler game in and game out.

It’s not entirely clear when Bennett’s head injury occurred, but it’s bad enough that the team has officially labeled it a concussion. For a wide receiver corps that’s already suffering, Bennett’s injury comes at a rough time for Chicago.

The Bears jumped out to a 7-1 record but the Cutler injury sent them into an ugly two-game slide. Cutler has a solid stable of offensive weapons around him, but once again, it’s the defense that provides the identity in Chicago. The Bears are in the top 10 in the league against both the pass and the run, and save for that performance in San Francisco, they have imposed their will in every game.

Cutler didn’t throw for a huge number in his return last week, but he did look sharp, as incompletions were few and far between. Keeping him upright this week will be the challenge, as Seattle has some steady corners who may force Cutler to stand in and wait for his receivers to find room. Brandon Marshall is the top target outside the numbers, and his size will present a problem in the Seattle secondary.
