The Browns are on a hot streak, beating the Raiders on Sunday for the team’s second straight win.
Raiders losing streak continues

US PRESSWIREAside from a long touchdown and garbage-time score, Oakland had trouble finishing off drives. Offensive struggles have become all too familiar for Silver And Black Pride:
On defense, Oakland allowed 475 yards but had a bend-but-don’t-break philosophy, forcing two turnovers and holding the Browns to 1-of-3 in the red zone. The offense just wasn’t able to match.

Ezra ShawMcFadden is still dealing with a high ankle sprain that has caused him to miss the Raiders’ previous three games. He practiced on Wednesday and Thursday in a limited capacity but his performance during the two days gave the Raiders hope that he could make his return.
When McFadden has played, he hasn’t been the McFadden of old with only two 100-yard rushing games in eight games played, though prior to his injury, he was looking like he was returning to form.

Cary Emondson-US PRESSWIREFantasy Impact: Assuming McFadden is out, Reece becomes a solid starter in all fantasy formats. Owners will want to keep a sharp eye out for any potential developments. The Raiders play in the late afternoon set of games, so there is a chance that the Raiders pull a fast one and activate McFadden after most of the day’s games have kicked off, leaving owners without a lot of their potential replacements. For now, Reece appears to be a safe play this week.

Jason MillerOn the other side, the Browns have been competitive in 10 of their 11 games, yet Pat Shurmur’s club has been unable to close in the fourth quarter. They forced eight turnovers against the depleted Steelers, but it was still a nailbiter down the stretch as they held on for a six-point win. They are playing better football than the Raiders at this point in the season, but Shurmur has repeatedly been unable to capitalize on golden opportunities to get wins. They have lost 12 straight road games dating back to Week 2 of last season. Can they snap that streak in Oakland?
The Oakland Raiders are the middle of an ugly four-game losing streak, but despite all the franchise’s recent struggles, they have not had a five-game streak in five years. The biggest issue has been on the defensive side of the ball. Opponents are putting together career days on offense and special teams, and the Raiders offense has been unable to dig out of huge early holes.
