NFL picks Week 16: Saints vs. Cowboys
NFL experts are mostly split on this crucial Week 16 matchup for Dallas.

Over on ESPN, of the seven analysts who weighed in, four chose the Cowboys. Mark Schlereth and Cris Carter went for New Orleans, and so did Accuscore, a sports betting and picking system. CBS was equally torn on the Cowboys-Saints tilt: five experts went for Dallas, and four went for New Orleans. This time, the prediction machine on CBS' side chose the Cowboys to come out on top.
At Yahoo! Sports, meanwhile, there’s little enthusiasm for the Cowboys. Two of the site’s three writers tabbed New Orleans to come out on top, and so did Yahoo’s users. Only Mike Silver picked Dallas.
New Orleans' impressive offensive performance against Tampa Bay likely swayed voters to the Saints' side. In that game, Drew Brees threw for four touchdowns, and the New Orleans defense picked off Josh Freeman four times in a 41-0 blowout. But Brees can expect a tougher time against Dallas; while Tampa Bay is the NFL's worst team at defending the pass, the Cowboys are solidly in the middle of the pack. New Orleans will need its secondary, the second-worst in the NFL, to repeat its performance against the Buccaneers to topple Dallas.
