The Chicago Bears' late season collapse had them in dire circumstances Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. To keep any hope of a playoff berth alive, the Bears had to win and get help elsewhere around the league.

The Chicago Bears took care of business against the Arizona Cardinals to keep their playoff hopes alive, but the road to the postseason still remains plenty murky.
They took care of the first part.
The Bears rediscovered the defensive prowess that so integrally contributed to their early season win streak, intercepting two Cardinals’ passes and scoring two defensive touchdowns on their way to a dominant 28-13 win. Dane Noble of SB Nation’s Chicago Bears blog, Windy City Gridiron, writes that the Bears’ performance on Sunday was business as usual -- business far too long absent.
Newly re-signed Zack Bowman scored on a fumble recovery in the first quarter, and Charles Tillman scored on an interception of rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley in the third.
The rest as they say, was history. The Cardinals benched Lindley after Tillman's interception, and next man up, Brian Hoyer, couldn't get anything going either.
Unfortunately for the Bears, they did not receive the help they needed from other teams, primarily the Houston Texans, who fell to the Vikings and set up Minnesota with a "win and you're in" scenario.
The Chicago Bears now must win in Week 17 against the Detroit Lions and have the Vikings lose to the Green Bay Packers in order to make the playoffs.
