NFC Pro Bowl roster 2013: Adrian Peterson, Aaron Rodgers lead the way

Adrian Peterson, Aaron Rodgers and Calvin Johnson highlight the NFC’s 2013 Pro Bowl roster.

Pro Bowl rosters for both the AFC and NFC are now set, and it comes as no surprise that three of the conference’s best players have been rewarded for their excellent 2012 campaigns.

MVP candidate and NFL Comeback Player of the Year candidate Adrian Peterson highlights the NFC's roster. Peterson still has a chance to break Erick Dickerson's single-season rushing yards record, but will need to rush for 208 yards in order to do so.

Green Bay Packers quarterback and reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers also highlights the roster, along with Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson. Johnson broke Jerry Rice's single-season receiving yards record in Week 16.

The trio of NFC North stars were all named starters for the NFC.

Here’s a look at the complete NFC roster that will compete against the AFC in Hawaii. Players from the NFC’s representative in the Super Bowl will not participate in the Pro Bowl.
