As noted, that game has significance due to the likely event that Baltimore and Denver are competing for home-field advantage in the playoffs, as they are both division leaders.
The 13-time Pro Bowler tore his triceps in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys, and underwent surgery soon after. He was added to injured reserve to free up a roster spot, but was designated for a potential return, which was made possible by a rule change this offseason.
