USA TODAY SportsKansas City Chiefs defense lineman Shaun Smith was a little grumpy on Sunday. What else could explain his curious decision to blatantly choke a player from the Browns? USA TODAY SportsBowe is the Chiefs’ top offensive weapon through the air, entering the week with a team-high 57 receptions for 731 yards. He has three touchdown catches this year, working with the struggling Brady Quinn-Matt Cassel rotation though the first 13 weeks of the season.

USA TODAY SportsKansas City has one of the best rushing attacks in the league, averaging 146.7 yards per game. That has largely been done on the back of Charles, who has rolled through opposing defenses in the second half of the season. Charles has broken 100 yards in three of his last four games and exceeded that in the first quarter alone against Cleveland. He opened the game with an 80-yard touchdown burst down the right sideline.
The Browns lead the Chiefs, 10-7, at halftime and if Bowe and Charles are both hampered in the second half, that certainly won’t help Kansas City’s offensive cause as they go for back-to-back wins.
