Brandon Marshall Traded To Chicago Bears, According To Report

The Dolphins have traded Pro Bowl wide receiver Brandon Marshall to the Bears in exchange for two third-round picks, according to a report.

The Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears have reportedly completed a stunning trade. According to Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com, the Dolphins have traded wide receiver Brandon Marshall to the Bears. Per Glazer, the price for the three-time Pro Bowler is two third-round picks.

This means Marshall will be reuniting with Jay Cutler, his former quarterback in Denver.

What a stunner. There was no indication that anything like this could happen, especially since it was just two years ago that the Dolphins gave up two second-round picks for Marshall, and then signed him to a four-year, $47.5 million deal. The Dolphins made that trade with the Broncos just before the 2010 NFL draft.

The Bears' need for a receiver was no secret, but it had been reported that they were going to be involved in the pursuit for free-agent receiver Vincent Jackson. Looks like that won't be happening anymore.
