Jaguars Guard Uche Nwaneri Doesn’t Want Tim Tebow ‘Circus’ In Jacksonville

There has been rampant speculation as to the destination of Tim Tebow after Peyton Manning joined the Denver Broncos, many forecasting a return to the state that launched his football career — Florida, where he won two national championships as a member of the Florida Gators. Two Florida teams, the Miami Dolphins and the Jacksonville Jaguars, have iffy quarterback situations.

The Jaguars in particular have reportedly discussed bringing in Tebow, but one member of the team isn't too keen on the idea. Here are some tweets from guard Uche Nwaneri and he doesn't mince words:

As fans in Florida may remember, this isn’t the first time Nwaneri has gone on-the-record against Tebow. This could just be a case of Nwaneri standing up for his quarterback — as an offensive lineman, that’s kind of his job description — but ... still... #shotsfired.
