Jenkins is still recovering from offseason shoulder surgery and has yet to be medically cleared for practice. He played through neck and leg injuries on his way to an interception and 10 pass breakups last season.

Maybe that’s because Jenkins isn’t available, at least according to team owner and general manager Jerry Jones who says the Cowboys are not listening to offers for Jenkins. Jones added that Jenkins is more valuable to the Cowboys than other teams.
What teams say doesn’t matter very much. What they do matters a lot more and what the Cowboys have done is add a couple of talented pieces in the secondary. In other words, a trade at some point in the future shouldn’t surprise you if the right offer comes along.

Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett recently pushed back on Jenkins trade talk, insisting that he was not on the block. Schefter’s report says Jenkins is available for the right price.
Dallas’ asking price is unknown. The Colts’ offer said to be under consideration was described as “compelling” in Friday’s report by a source in Indianapolis.
