Adrian Peterson Back At Vikings Training Camp After Allergic Reaction

The Minnesota Vikings have good news on Tuesday after running back Adrian Peterson was hospitalized on Monday. Peterson, who is currently on the Vikings PUP list due to his knee injury, was hospitalized after an allergic reaction to seafood, but is expected to be fine.

The headline from Daily Norseman on Monday says it all: ‘Adrian Peterson Scares The Bejeezus Out Of Everyone

Peterson was suffering from shortness of breath and swelling in the face due to the allergic reaction, a situation Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier called a “scary moment’. He’s back with the team and appears to be fine, according to reports. Though he’s back with the team, he’s not practicing fully yet. He can’t practice while on the PUP list but Frazier said on Tuesday that he expected Peterson to return to his rehab schedule.

Peterson is still hoping to be available by Week 1. If that happens, he will likely exit the PUP list at some point during training camp to get some work in before the season.
