Wide receiver Greg Jennings remains out for the Green Bay Packers as he recovers from a concussion sustained August 3rd during an intrasquad scrimmage. According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee-Wisconsin Journal Sentinel, head coach Mike McCarthy cannot put a time table on Jennings' return.

“I’m shooting in the dark here,” McCarthy said after practice Sunday afternoon. “There’s testing that’s involved, and it’s not going as well as I know Greg would like. Could be a couple days.”

Jennings has now been held out of football activities for ten days, missing one preseason game against the San Diego Chargers and expected to miss the upcoming contest against the Cleveland Browns. Teammate and fellow wide receiver James Jones believes that Jennings' absence is just precautionary saying, "It's preseason and all that so he's not (missing as much). I'm sure if it were regular season he wouldn't miss this one".

Jennings enters 2012 as the Packers No. 1 receiver and, production-wise, a top wideout in the NFL.
