Antonio Cromartie Runs WR Drills At Jets Training Camp

On Monday, New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie finally earned a shot to show off his talents on the offensive side of the ball when he participated in drills with the wide receivers group for the first time.

Cromartie had stated earlier in camp that he was the second best receiver on the team and will now have an opportunity to backup the claim.

Via NJ.com:

“I bugged Rex every opportunity to put me on offense, so I finally get my chance,” Cromartie said. “I got a couple plays last year, but this year, I’ll actually get a chance to play a little more receiver.”

Cromartie reportedly has a small package of offensive plays that the coaching staff can use him in. As of this time, he is unaware of how much work the staff is going to have him to put in with the offense.
