Cromartie had stated earlier in camp that he was the second best receiver on the team and will now have an opportunity to backup the claim.

“I bugged Rex every opportunity to put me on offense, so I finally get my chance,” Cromartie said. “I got a couple plays last year, but this year, I’ll actually get a chance to play a little more receiver.”
Cromartie reportedly has a small package of offensive plays that the coaching staff can use him in. As of this time, he is unaware of how much work the staff is going to have him to put in with the offense.
