Browns Roster Cuts: Cleveland Waives Injured Players Marcus Benard, Auston English And Antwuan Reed
Benard was injured in Friday's 27-10 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, dislocating his elbow in the third quarter. He led the Browns in sacks during the 2010 season with 7.5, while appearing in 15 games. Meanwhile, English is dealing with an undisclosed injury, and had been on the practice field every day until being held out on Monday. Reed, who suffered a leg injury in practice on Aug. 20, rounds out the list of waived players. All three could be retained by the Browns and placed on IR if they clear waivers. They could also agree to a settlement and become free agents.
