The Washington Redskins have cut their roster down to 75 players. The NFL had a 4 p.m. ET deadline to get each team's roster within the 75-man limit, forcing head coach Mike Shanahan and the coaching staff to make some tough decisions.
Redskins Roster Cuts: Mike Shanahan Trims Roster To 75 Players
Here is a look at the players released on Monday afternoon. The team previously cut nine players earlier in the day.

WR Lance Lewis (Waived-Injured)
LB Monte Lewis
G Nick Martinez
TE Beau Reliford
CB Morgan Trent (Waived with Injury Settlement)
The Redskins also dealt cornerback Kevin Barnes to the Detroit Lions for a conditional draft pick. Offensive tackle Jammal Brown was placed on the Reserve Physically Unable to Perform list.
All NFL teams have until 9 p.m. ET on Saturday, Sept. 1 to trim their rosters down to 53 players.
