The Atlanta Falcons opened as 3.5-point favorites over the Denver Broncos. The line has since moved a half-point, leaving the Broncos as three-point underdogs as of Wednesday evening, according to OddsShark.com.
Week 2 NFL Odds: Broncos Vs. Falcons
After slapping the Chiefs around last Sunday, the Falcons are three-point favorites over Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos on Monday night.
It may be hard to envision Peyton Manning and Denver as dogs, especially after the Broncos bounced a solid Pittsburgh Steelers team, 31-19, in Week 1. However, it appears that oddsmakers were just as impressed with the Falcons' 40-24 dismantling of the Kansas City Chiefs on the road last Sunday. Also likely being taken into consideration are Atlanta's strong straight-up (7-2) and against-the-spread (5-2-2) marks at home over their last nine games.
The over/under was initially set at 51, but it has since moved to 49, as bettors seem to be banking on more of a defensive affair.
Kickoff from the Georgia Dome is slated for the usual 8:30 p.m. ET on Monday night.
