Michael Vick and the Eagles were able to hang on and beat the Ravens.
Eagles Are 1st Team In NFL History To Start With Back-To-Back 1-Point Wins
With the one-point win over the Ravens and Browns, the Eagles become the first team in NFL history to win each of its first two games of the season by one point.
The Eagles struggled last season when trailing and in close games and despite all of the worry about Vick’s ability to stay healthy and lead the offense, Philadelphia has control of the top spot in the NFC East thanks to two big wins to start the season.

Vick starred for the Eagles and has their fans feeling good at 2-0, as Jason Brewer of Bleeding Green Nation wrote in his post-game recap.
The 17-16 win over the Cleveland Browns in Philadelphia’s first game had many wondering if they’d overrated the Eagles, even if they came away with the win. Baltimore led 17-7 at halftime when things began to fall apart. Bruce Raffel of Baltimore Beat Down had an easy time finding things to fault in the collapse.
Raffel also criticized the defensive effort in a game he termed winnable. Zachary Beard from the site took the opportunity to call out offensive coordinator Cam Cameron for the poor showing, going play-by-play to criticize bad playcalling decisions made as the Ravens squandered their lead.

Philadelphia initially led 7-0 midway through the first quarter, but the Ravens would dominate the remainder of the half to take a 17-7 advantage into halftime. The Eagles responded in the third quarter with a pair of scores to tie the game up at 17-17, but Baltimore would take back the lead with a couple of fourth quarter field goals.
With about four minutes remaining in the game, Vick led the Eagles on their longest drive of the day, a nine-play, 80-yard rumble down the field punctuated by the quarterback’s 1-yard touchdown run. The Ravens had nearly two minutes to possibly get into field goal position, but the Eagles defense shut things down at the end.

Jeremy Maclin Injury: Eagles WR Carted Off The Field
Eagles’ trainers got Maclin to the sidelines. He was then seen being carted off the field, lying flat on his back for the ride to the locker room. Details on Maclin’s injury were not available, but the sight of him being carted off the field does not bode well for his availability through the rest of the game. Maclin had been dealing with a hip injury prior to this game.

Shady McCoy does some things almost too easily. Touchdowns are supposed to be exciting, important moments. Like, for instance, for the Cleveland Browns who may not score more than half a dozen on offense all year. But McCoy is at his job.
He packed his Spiderman lunchbox with a turkey sandwich and some Baked Lays, clocked in on the old timesheet machine and put on his jersey. He’s thinking about going home and catching up on The Voice episodes he taped on the DVR.
