The Philadelphia Eagles pulled off another come-from-behind victory on Sunday, beating the Baltimore Ravens 24-23 thanks to Michael Vick's touchdown with less than two minutes remaining. The Eagles had trailed for most of the game, with the offense struggling with turnovers and an ability to take advantage of several prime scoring opportunities, before the defense made several key stops and Vick was able to lead his offense down the field for the winning score.
Eagles Are 1st Team In NFL History To Start With Back-To-Back 1-Point Wins
The comeback victory was one that eluded Vick and the Eagles in all of 2011 and now Philadelphia has two in the first two weeks of the 2012 season. The Eagles executed a comeback win against Cleveland in the first week of the season, beating the Browns 17-16.
With the one-point win over the Ravens and Browns, the Eagles become the first team in NFL history to win each of its first two games of the season by one point.
The Eagles struggled last season when trailing and in close games and despite all of the worry about Vick’s ability to stay healthy and lead the offense, Philadelphia has control of the top spot in the NFC East thanks to two big wins to start the season.
