Aaron Hernandez Injury: X-Rays Negative On Ankle

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez left Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals in the first quarter after he rolled his ankle when blocking on a passing play. The injury looked serious as Hernandez needed the help of a pair of trainers as he left the field and headed to the locker room.

There is now some positive news, because after x-rays were taken it has been revealed that Hernandez’s right ankle is not broken. However, at this point any other damage to the ankle is not known, and further testing will be needed to see if there is any other damage to Hernandez’s ankle.

Before Hernandez left the game he was targeted just once, and they need him on the field because their passing offense has struggled against the Cardinals ever since he left the game.
