New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw has been ruled out of Thursday night's game against the Carolina Panthers, according to head coach Tom Coughlin.
Ahmad Bradshaw Injury: Giants RB Ruled Out For Thursday’s Game
Bradshaw injured his neck during Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will not be traveling with the team to Carolina. Coughlin would not go into the specifics of the injury.
This means that running back Andre Brown will be making his first career start in his place. Brown rushed for 71 yards on 13 attempts with one touchdown in relief of Bradshaw in Sunday's game against Tampa Bay. Originally selected with the No. 129 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft by the Giants, Brown was involved in over 20 transactions with five clubs before earning a spot on the Giants practice squad last year (he went on to make the 53-man roster this year).
