Philly loves Brian Dawkins

Eagles fans went wild for Brian Dawkins on Sunday night.

Jeffrey G. Pittenger-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The Philadelphia Eagles retired No. 20 on Sunday night, the number of their legendary safety Brian Dawkins. At the half, the fan favorite fired up the crowd with a halftime speech to accompany the ceremony.

Dawkins went crazy. The crowd went crazy. It was about as Philadelphia of a football moment if there ever was one.

Watch.

Prior to the game, Dawkins shed the suit for his famous walk onto the field. Are those parachute pants he’s wearing?
