Packers vs. 49ers, injury report: Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson return

Both Green Bay and San Francisco a lengthy list of names on the injury report for Thursday. Here’s an update on each team’s status.

As the Packers gear up to head out to the Bay Area this weekend, they are finally getting two of their star receivers back to work. After missing practice on Wednesday, both Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson returned to action on Thursday. The two wideouts were limited in their work.

Green Bay already ruled Jerel Worthy out for Saturday. The other only player on the roster not practicing at this point is Jarrett Boykin. Jermichael Finley, Alex Green, Clay Mathews, Dezman Moses and James Starks all practiced in full. Jerron McMillian also returned after missing time due to a non-injury related issue.

On the other side of the matchup, the 49ers listed 13 players on the injury report again. Tarell Brown, Dashon Goldson, Clark Haggans, Bruce Miller, Aldon Smith, Justin Smith and Will Tukuafu were all limited in practice again after being listed with the same status on Wednesday.

NaVorro Bowman, Garrett Celek, Tavares Gooden, Mike Iupati, Carlos Rogers and Patrick Willis participated in full. It looks like both teams will suit up all of their stars when Saturday night rolls around.
