The 49ers were arguably the better team throughout the year, after going 11-4-1 during the regular season. They came back from a 17-point deficit to beat the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. The defense has been spectacular, but quarterback Colin Kaepernick may have tipped the scales for oddsmakers. He went 16-for-21 passing for 233 yards and a touchdown against Atlanta.
The Ravens went 10-6 during the regular season, earning the No. 4 seed in the AFC. They beat the Patriots 28-13 on Sunday to advance.
