Brooks suffered a shoulder injury early in the NFC Championship Game against the Atlanta Falcons, but he stayed in the game nearly the whole time, playing 63-of-67 snaps. Brooks has also been dealing with a dislocated finger he suffered back in training camp, but he hasn't missed a single game all season. Brooks is fully expected to suit up for the Super Bowl despite being limited in practice on Friday.
Despite the injuries, Brooks has been one of the key cogs in San Francisco’s defense, racking up 47 tackles, 6.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one interception and six passes defensed. The 28 year old signed a six-year, $42 million contract extension last February.
