The Cleveland Browns interviewed former Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt on Wednesday, according to ESPN. The interview occurred in Arizona, where Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and CEO Joe Banner are conducting a "handful" of interviews.

The Cleveland Browns reportedly interviewed former Arizona Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt on Wednesday.

Whisenhunt was fired by the Cardinals on Monday, though Wednesday's interview was actually his second since then. He also interviewed for the vacant head coaching position with the Buffalo Bills.
Cleveland also is expected to interview Syracuse coach Doug Marrone on Thursday and Oregon coach Chip Kelly on Friday.
Whisenhunt spent six years as the coach of the Cardinals, and led the team to an appearance in the Super Bowl in 2008. However, the team has been wildly inconsistent over the years, a problem primarily stemming from the instability at the quarterback position. When the Cardinals went to the Super Bowl, Kurt Warner was the quarterback.
Many of the candidates interviewing with the team have already interviewed elsewhere or are scheduled to do so.
