Both books put the over/under at 49, expecting a high scoring game between the No. 1 scoring offense in New England, and the No. 8 scoring offense in Houston. The Patriots averaged an impressive 34.8 points-per-game during the regular season, while the Texans averaged 28 points-per-game.
New England and Houston met earlier in the season, with the Patriots winning 42-14. The two teams played in Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA, and will meet their again next week. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady had an impressive day, throwing for 296 yards and four touchdowns.
