Robert Griffin III went down with a knee injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Seahawks, and according to a team spokesperson, he was sent afterwards to a hospital to undergo an MRI. Initial reports stated the rookie would have tests on Monday, but sources close to the team later said otherwise.

The details on RGIII’s knee injury haven’t been revealed yet after he underwent an MRI on Sunday night.

After he was noticeably limping throughout the game, RGIII’s leg caught the wrong way on the turf, causing his knee to buckle late on Sunday evening. A gruesome injury to watch, he was helped off the field and taken back to the locker room immediately.
RGIII did not believe the injury he suffered was serious. If you’ll recall, he left a game against the Ravens earlier this season after injuring his knee. He told the media it didn’t feel like an ACL tear, and was proven right after test results came back negative. Redskins fans can only keep their fingers crossed this time around.
The results of his MRI have yet to be revealed. More news is sure to come on Monday.
