The Miami Dolphins will have approximately $47 million in cap space this offseason, which is a healthy chunk of change to help improve a 7-9 team that had one of the worst offenses in the NFL this past season. One potential expenditure this offseason could be on veteran wide receiver and current Green Bay Packer Greg Jennings, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

The Miami Dolphins are expected to pursue veteran wide receiver Greg Jennings in the offseason.

Jackson says that the Dolphins will consider making a "serious run" at Jennings in March once free agency begins, as the Packers have neglected to extend him. He noted a post from Jennings' sister, in which she (hilariously) called current Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers the "most overrated quarterback in the league." She also suggested that Jennings needed to go to Miami to "get paid."
In the same post, Jackson also said that Steve Ross, the Dolphins’ owner, doesn’t believe building through free agency is the best course of action for the team. That being said, Jennings is proven, still appears to have a lot of tread left on the tires, and knows Joe Philbin’s offense from their time together in Green Bay, so the fit is definitely there.
