Baltimore Ravens franchise icon Ray Lewis returned to action on Sunday, helping lead the Ravens to a 24-9 win over the Indianapolis Colts in the NFL's Wild Card round.

Lewis was placed on injured reserve after Baltimore's Week 6 win over the Dallas Cowboys with a torn triceps, but was given the designated-to-return tag. Baltimore activated Lewis prior to the Wild Card round, and Lewis returned on Sunday, recording a team-high 13 tackles.

Lewis will certainly be active on Saturday when the Ravens take on the Denver Broncos, as Lewis will try to extend his career by at least one more game. Lewis missed Baltimore's loss to Denver earlier this season.

Both Terrell Suggs and Dannell Ellerbe suffered minor injuries in Baltimore's win. Suggs aggravated his right Achilles injury, but the injury was not severe enough to force Suggs from the game.

Ellerbe sprained his right ankle in Baltimore's win, but expects to be ready for Baltimore's Divisional Round showdown against Peyton Manning and the Broncos.

Indianapolis Colts offensive lineman Winston Justice exited Indianapolis' loss in the first quarter because of a shoulder injury. Justice will have the entire offseason to recover from his injury.
