The Washington Redskins fell to the Seattle Seahawks and were eliminated from the playoffs on Sunday, and now they'll retire for the off-season to lick their wounds to hopefully come back healthy next season. There are some pretty significant wounds, though.
Redskins’ injury report: Roy Helu, Sav Rocca among off-season concerns
Several Redskins’ players will be rehabbing in the off-season, including Sav Rocca, Roy Helu and Pierre Garcon.

As noted by the Washington Post, punter Sav Rocca said on Monday that he will have surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. Rocca believes he could be kicking again by the spring, which is good, given that he's been able to play through the injury thus far.
Rocca suffered the injury in October, but went on to post a career-best of 43.9 yards per punt. He does not know the extent of the tear, so he cannot pinpoint his recovery exactly, but feels it will be “speedy.”
Then there is the injury to running back Roy Helu. After an impressive campaign a season ago, he missed the final 15 games of the 2012 season on injured reserve. He had a serious case of turf toe and Achilles' tendon injuries in both legs.
Helu’s toe has still yet to heal, and he experiences pain when he jogs, which is the extent of his permitted physical activity. He said he has not tried to sprint yet, and that it would likely lead to more pain due to the sprinter’s stance. Fortunately, Helu doesn’t require surgery, but his return for OTAs will be in question.
Lastly, there's wide receiver Pierre Garcon, who missed six of the team's first nine games with a ligament tear in his right foot. He wants to avoid any kind of surgery in the off-season, but says he still suffers from significant pain when doing physical activity. He'll get further opinions and go from there during the off-season.
