Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano says that is "absolutely not" the source of a leak regarding quarterback Josh Freeman and his participation in the NFL's substance abuse program, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Someone leaked some very personal information about the Buccaneers quarterback. Whether or not it was Greg Schiano and the Buccaneers, it looks bad for the coach and his team. In addition to this, the NFL Player’s Association is looking into matters, as Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports. In a series of Tweets, Stroud outlines quotes from NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith, who says the union is “sufficiently concerned with what we’ve heard to begin an investigation.”
Smith followed up by saying that “no one is going to exempt from the consequences” if the union (and the NFL) find fault in the leaking of personal information by the Buccaneers organization or otherwise.
Freeman said that he passed 46 league-administered drug tests over a period of 18 months. He also accused members of the Buccaneers organization of making “hurtful and incorrect assumptions” regarding him. That’s eluding to somebody leaking this information, likely to latch onto the phrase “substance abuse program,” regardless of the actual terms of his participation.
Schiano’s statement of denial continued by saying he doesn’t appreciate the accusations being thrown around by Freeman, even if said accusations didn’t specifically target the head coach.
“At the end of the day, it’s not a good thing and we need to just keep moving forward,” Schiano said.
For Freeman, "moving forward" likely means getting out of Tampa Bay considering he's reportedly requested a trade since being benched for rookie third-round pick Mike Glennon last week. Glennon was unsuccessful in his debut, by the way, throwing two late interceptions that allowed the Arizona Cardinals to come from behind and win.
