The Panthers are coming off a rough loss to the Cardinals. Carolina was held to just six points on the road and failed to get into the end zone after a Week 4 bye. Cam Newton and the Panthers offense were shut down in the second half of the game and the Cardinals finished the game with 19 unanswered points.
The Vikings were on a bye in Week 5 following their first win of the season in London. Minnesota is going to need a big showing from Adrian Peterson on Sunday to beat the Panthers. Either Matt Cassel or Christian Ponder will start in Week 6 but their status for Sunday remains uncertain.
