Colts vs. Chargers 2013 odds: Indianapolis favored after big win over Seahawks

The Indianapolis Colts are favored to best the San Diego Chargers in Week 6.

Jonathan Moore

The Indianapolis Colts will hit the road to take on the San Diego Chargers in prime time on Monday Night Football. Through five games, the two teams are looking like complete opposites heading into this Week 6 matchup. Indianapolis is 4-1 and coming off a huge win over the Seattle Seahawks, a team considered to be one of the top three in the league.

San Diego is 2-3, and is coming off a loss to the Oakland Raiders, a team considered to be among the worst. The Chargers have been good for awhile but the window seems to be closing, while the Colts experienced a down year without Peyton Manning but are on the rise with young quarterback Andrew Luck.

The lines opened with San Diego set as a three-point favorite, but the line quickly moved on most books, according to Odds Shark. Now the lines are all over the place, with some showing even money on both teams, and others showing the Colts favored by as many as two points. None of the major books have the Chargers favored at this point.

The over/under opened at 49 points and is right around 50 on most books. The total has gone under in four of San Diego’s last five, and also in four of Indianapolis’ last five.
