The NFL Players Association believes that Greg Schiano was the source of the Josh Freeman information leak, according to a report on Saturday night. The report alleges that the NFLPA has “no confidence” in the NFL to conduct an investigation into the matter and believes that Schiano talked to other Buccaneers players about the confidential information.

The NFL and NFL Players Association released a joint statement on Saturday, confirming that the outbreak of MRSA -- more commonly known as staph -- is not a risk to the Philadelphia Eagles and that it did not originate at the Buccaneers' facility. In addition, one report suggested that there were multiple strains of MRSA that were brought in from an outside source, so at least two of the three infected players contracted it separately.
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is "definitely" not playing on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. A report on Saturday stated that Vick traveled with the team, but that he will not be active for the game due to his hamstring injury. It's been widely reported for the past week that Vick stood little chance of playing, but the Eagles kept him in practice, possibly to attempt to convince the Buccaneers that they should spend valuable practice time gameplanning for Vick.
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was placed on injured reserve on Saturday. Kelce recently underwent microfracture surgery on his knee, to repair an issue related to a bone bruise sustained in the preseason. Kelce, a third-round pick this season, did not get to play at all in the regular season. With injuries to Tony Moeaki and Anthony Fasano, the Chiefs are now down to Kevin Brock and Sean McGrath at the tight end position.
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will play against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Peterson's infant son passed away on Friday, due to injuries from an alleged beating from the mother's boyfriend. Peterson was excused from practice on Thursday to be with the child in the hospital. Peterson has said that playing helps him relieve stress.
Indianapolis Colts tight end Dwayne Allen will miss three to four months with his hip injury. Allen sustained the injury in Week 1, and was quickly placed on injured reserve following a surgical procedure. Allen will miss the entirety of this season but is now expected to be ready for all offseason activities heading into the 2014 season.
Offensive tackle Eugene Monroe will make his Baltimore Ravens debut on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers. Monroe was inactive for last week's game against the Miami Dolphins, as the team had just traded fourth- and fifth-round picks for the left tackle and he hadn't yet picked up the playbook. Monroe takes over for Bryant McKinnie on the left side.
