New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks is a trade target of many teams, including the Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers, according to Jason La Confora.
Hakeem Nicks trade rumors: 49ers, Falcons interested according to report
The Giants wide receiver might be on the move to a contender.

With the Giants at 0-6 and seemingly out of the playoff race before Halloween, many believe New York could be looking to trade a player or two to get some high draft picks in what is expected to be a loaded 2014 NFL Draft.
The question is how much would a team be willing to give up for the 6'1'', 210-pound receiver? With the Cleveland Browns getting a first round pick for Trent Richardson, that may have set the market for a player the caliber of Nicks, who was a first round selection himself back in 2009.
Over at Niners Nation, David Fucillo does not believe San Francisco and Nicks are a match:
As for Nicks? Considering he’s making $2,675,000, I’m not quite sure I see this kind of deal happening. The 49ers could re-do some deals to clear the space, but with Nicks also hitting free agency after this season, it just doesn’t strike me as the smartest move. It would provide a short-term boost at wide receiver, but with reinforcements on the way, and plenty of cap issues to deal with, I just don’t see it happening.
Nicks has had a very good season thus far for New York with 25 catches and 442 yards. The only blemish has been his inability to find the end zone, despite finally being healthy. The former North Carolina star has struggled to stay on the field for much of his five-year career, never playing 16 games.
