NFL injury report: Calais Campbell, Matt Schaub hurt in Week 6

There were a bevy of key injuries on Sunday around the NFL.

During Week 6 of the NFL season, many teams go through their games without any type of bothersome injury that could hinder their chances going forward. Others were not so lucky.

The Arizona Cardinals suffered a scary injury to defensive end Calais Campbell, who was taken off the field on a stretcher with a neck injury. Luckily, Campbell does have movement throughout his body, although the timetable for his return is unknown.

Against the St. Louis Rams, Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub was forced from the game in the second half with a leg/ankle injury, met by some fans cheering. It is not certain whether he will be able to play next week against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Green Bay Packers watched as two of their receivers were not able to finish against the Baltimore Ravens. Randall Cobb left the game following an apparent knee injury, but it does not appear to be as serious as originally feared. James Jones also left early on with a leg injury and could not return. It is unclear how badly he is hurt.

The Dallas Cowboys had all sorts of health problems versus the Washington Redskins. Running back DeMarco Murray and defensive end DeMarcus Ware both exited in the first half and did not return. Murray was sidelined with a knee injury while Ware went down with a quad issue.

In a comeback over the New Orleans Saints, the New England Patriots sustained a few key injuries. Wide receiver Danny Amendola departed in the fourth quarter with a very apparent concussion and was helped off the field by medical staff. Corner Aqib Talib suffered a hip injury, while offensive line Dan Connolly and linebacker Jerod Mayo also left with head and arm ailments respectively, per masslive.com.

The Jacksonville Jaguars fought hard against the Denver Broncos in defeat, even without wide receiver Cecil Shorts III who sprained his shoulder in the first quarter.
