Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell was released from the hospital late Sunday night after being taken off the field on a stretcher against the San Francisco 49ers, according to Mark Dalton.
Calais Campbell injury: Cardinals DE released from hospital
After some scary moments on the field Sunday, Campbell is on the mend.

Campbell was injured in the fourth quarter and had to be taken off the field on a stretcher. The longtime mainstay along the defensive line was immobilized, keeping his injured neck stable while the medical staff worked on the issue.
The good news is Campbell says he is feeling good after such a terrible few moments on the field. Campbell has feeling throughout his entire body.
Campbell's status going forward is very murky at the point. With the Cardinals next game being on Thursday night against the Seattle Seahawks, it would be surprising if Campbell is suited up. That said, nothing has been ruled out.
