New York Jets running back Mike Goodson is out for the remainder of the NFL season after tearing his MCL and ACL in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers at MetLife Stadium, per his Twitter.
Mike Goodson injury: Jets RB out for season with torn MCL, ACL
New York’s offseason pickup is done for the season with a pair of torn knee ligaments.

Goodson was signed by the Jets in the offseason but did not pan out the way either had hoped for after Goodson was arrested during the summer for drug and gun charges. As a result, the NFL suspended Goodson for the first four regular season games.
This year, Goodson only carried the ball seven times for 61 yards before going on the shelf. In his career, Goodson has played for the Carolina Panthers and Oakland Raiders as well, amassing 783 yards on 4.7 yards per carry. The 26-year-old was supposed to be the main back along with Chris Ivory for Gang Green this year, but both have left the job to Bilal Powell.
New York's next game is Sunday at home against the New England Patriots.
