Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Markus Wheaton will miss another game because of his finger injury, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Head coach Mike Tomlin announced Wheaton's status on Tuesday, once again eliminating him from playing early in the week as opposed to leaving it a mystery until game day.
Markus Wheaton injury: Steelers WR ruled out for Week 7
Pittsburgh Steelers rookie receiver Markus Wheaton will miss the team’s Week 7 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

Wheaton sustained a broken pinkie in the team's Week 4 matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. He had to get stitches, which were still in on Sunday when the Vikings took on the New York Jets, though they were scheduled to come out on Monday.
Pittsburgh had a bye week after the Minnesota game, so if all goes as planned, Wheaton will only have missed two games with the injury and he'll be good-to-go to play against the Oakland Raiders in Week 8. Pittsburgh will take on the Baltimore Ravens without Wheaton on Sunday.
Wheaton, a rookie taken in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, has just three catches on the season for 26 yards. All three catches came against the Vikings, the game in which he sustained his injury.
