Chicago Bears return specialist Devin Hester tied an NFL record when he took a punt return back 81 yards for a touchdown during the second quarter against the Washington Redskins.
Devin Hester ties NFL record for return TDs
Hester scored on an 81-yard punt return against the Redskins to put himself into the NFL record book.

The score gives Hester 19 career return touchdowns, tying him with Hall of Fame defensive back Deion Sanders. It extends his NFL-record number of punt return touchdowns to 13.
Hester fielded the punt at his own 19-yard line, made a quick move to get the edge on the opposite side of the field and raced down the right sideline accompanied by a convoy of teammates to tie the game at 17.
The 30-year-old Hester, now in his eighth NFL season, has lost the quickness and speed that once made him the league’s most electric return man, but showed off good field vision and awareness as he picked up his first return touchdown since 2011. He scored on two punt returns and one kick return that season.
