The Atlanta Falcons entered Sunday's game with huge holes at the wide receiver position. Julio Jones was already lost for the year with a foot injury, and Roddy White was ruled out with hamstring and ankle issues. That left it down to Harry Douglas as the No. 1 receiver, but he's making the most of his opportunity against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Harry Douglas stepping up big for Falcons
The Falcons are depleted at the receiver position, but Harry Douglas helped ease the pain with a big first half.

At halftime, Douglas is shredding the Buccaneers’ defense, recording six catches for 140 yards and a touchdown. His big first half was highlighted by a 37-yard score, in which he broke wide open and made an easy catch from Matt Ryan.
Douglas has spent several years serving as Atlanta’s No. 3 receiver behind Jones and White, and has never had a real chance to step up until this week. He may not continue this torrid pace with the Falcons nursing a 24-10 lead, but they are sure to be pleased with his efforts on Sunday.
