San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has struggled with his rushing game much more this year than he did during his breakout 2012 season, but he's finding lanes on the field Sunday against the Titans. Kaepernick rushed for a touchdown for the first time this season and has run for 56 yards so far against Tennessee with the game midway through the third quarter.
Colin Kaepernick finds running room, 49ers shutting out Titans
Kaepernick is close to running for more yards on Sunday than he has in the last four games combined, and San Francisco is pulling far away from Tennessee.

The 49ers lead, 24-0.
Kaepernick had run for just 63 yards in his last four games combined, but seems well on his way to surpassing that total in Week 7 alone with more than a quarter left to go. It might just depend on how much head coach Jim Harbaugh wants to put his franchise quarterback in jeopardy as San Francisco is up by more than three touchdowns on the road.
In addition to the ground game, Kaepernick is 11-of-13 for 163 yards and no interceptions. Frank Gore has scored two touchdowns of his own.
