Michael Vick injury: Nick Foles out, likely giving Vick the start
Nick Foles has been ruled out for Sunday’s game, giving Michael Vick the starting reins without controversy for the Eagles’ matchup against the Giants.

Vick has missed the last two weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 5, which happened to be the last time the Eagles played the Giants. Nick Foles played well after entering the game for Vick in the second quarter, then kicked up talk of a quarterback controversy by lighting up the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for three touchdown passes in Week 6. He struggled in Week 7, however, then suffered a concussion during the game.
Backup duties should once again go to rookie Matt Barkley, who had a disastrous fourth quarter against the Dallas Cowboys last week. Barkley went 11-for-20 for 129 yards, and threw three interceptions after Foles went down. The Eagles' offense managed just 278 total yards of offense with Foles and Barkley under center.
