Victor Cruz injury: Giants WR returns from locker room
Victor Cruz has returned to the field after his evaluation in the locker room.

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz left Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles with an apparent injury to his collarbone.
Cruz made a catch and was slammed to the ground by cornerback Bradley Fletcher. He fell hard on his neck and shoulders, remaining down on the field for some time before walking to the sideline. Cruz was taken to the locker room for further evaluation, and is currently undergoing x-rays to determine if he broke a bone-- according to Zach Schonbrun.
This was the second major offensive player injured in Sunday's game. The Philadelphia Eagles lost quarterback Michael Vick in the first half and were forced to turn to Matt Barkley, who has struggled throughout the game. Now New York will need to lean on second wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, but he has infinitely more NFL experience and a stronger resume than the Eagles rookie quarterback.
Nicks has been the subject of trade rumors while the Giants have struggled and it’s unlikely New York will move the receiver if they are forced to be without Cruz moving forward.
